VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the rapid increase in the number of cases of “kennel cough” (Bordetella Bronchiseptica) generally in the UK we have made the decision that we now require all dogs to be given an additional vaccination prior to coming to stay at the kennels.

This vaccination is administered via the dog’s nose and, dependent on the type of drug your vet uses, will protect your dog for between six and 12 months.  It is therefore important that you make an appointment with your vet for the kennel cough vaccination and discuss with him how soon you should give it to ensure that it is protected before it arrives.

We have come to this decision after a lot of thought and, although it means an extra trip to the vet and additional cost of another vaccination each six months or year, I am sure you will agree that protecting your pet's health is the most important consideration when leaving them in the kennel.
