Welcome to the first
weekly email update of events in our area. This email will advertise any
tournaments, events, workshops and job vacancies in our area, therefore if
you are organising a tournament or event and you would like it advertising
then simply send me the details and I will add this to the next update due
to be sent every Thursday.
Tournaments
Kimberley
Leisure Centre, Nottingham - Mini Squash Improver event, 28th
January, 2pm onwards, individual events including many fun Mini Squash
games, ideal for kids currently involved with Mini Squash to play against

Ipswich Sports Club - Junior Sanctioned event,
11th & 12th February, £18 entry fee including Free T-Shirt!! Age groups
U11/U13/U15/U17/U19 number permitting. Please see attached flyer for
details on how to enter.
Boston Squash Rackets Club - Boston Junior Open, 18th & 19th
March. Age groups Boys and Girls U17/U15/U13 and mixed fun event U11. For

Sports Coach
UK are running High Performance Coaching Workshop for 2005-2006, if you
are interested in adding a credit to Coach License or just to enhance your
skills. Please see the attached document.
Referee Courses
There are no
planned referee courses at present
Workshops
As at April 1st 2006 it will be mandatory
for all England Squash practising coaches to hold a valid coaching
license. In order to help coaches obtain their coach license, England
Squash will be running a two day Coach License Conference on the 9th and
10th February 2006, alongside the National Championships. The conference
will take place at the Velodrome, which is situated opposite the National
Squash Centre in Manchester. Please find attached the programme of
workshops available and an application form to attend the conference.
