MONDAY 27^TH SEPTEMBER – SATURDAY 2^ND OCTOBER

REGULATIONS

1. The Championship will be played under the rules of the England Squash and subject to these Regulations; any dispute will be settled by the Championship Committee whose decision is final.

2. The Championship is closed to players other than those qualified to enter by birth, residence or membership of a club in Hertfordshire during the six months prior to the commencement of the Championships.

3. A Plate Competition for all events is open to all first match losers.

4. Matches will be the best of five games and balls as chosen by the Championship Committee will be used.

5. All competitors will be expected to mark and/or referee matches as requested by the Championship Referee.

6. All competitors must complete and sign an official Entry Form, and this form, together with the appropriate fee, should be forwarded to :

7. Players are asked to enter only if they can play from 6.00 p.m. onwards from Monday 27^th September – Friday 1st October 2004. FINALISTS may be required to play from 3.00 p.m. onwards on Saturday 2nd October 2004.

By arrangement with the Hertfordshire League, no league matches will be played during the week of the Championships.

8. The Championship Committee is responsible for the numbers of players participating and their seeding and reserves at the Championships.

9. All players will be informed in advance of the time of their match; the time for the second and later rounds will be advised at the Championships.

10. Any player not ready to play at the time of their match will be scratched unless the Championship Committee decides otherwise.

11. The Hertfordshire SRA and Cannons St. Albans cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to players clothing, equipment and valuables or any loss or injury which may be sustained by players whatsoever during the course of the Championships.

12. Late entries and entries received without an entrance fee will not be accepted.
