This year's event was played at Broxbourne Sports Club at the week-end between 21-22 January 2006.

The tournament was again sponsored by Integral is a brand of Just Rams Plc, one of the largest memory distributors in Europe. The weekend finished with a fantastic Men's A Final between the number 1 and 2 seeds, Scott Rickard (Berkhamsted) and Marc Woolhead (R3 Stevenage). Scott had reached the final defeating Bishop's Stortford's John McFarlane 3-1 in the quarter-final and Neil Waller (Hazlewood) in 4 tough games in the semis.
Marc ruthlessly progressed to the Final beating Chris Stanley (Berkhamsted) and Chris Dawson (Broxbourne) in the quarters and semi's for the total loss of only 12 points.

In the Final Scott started the match stronger than Marc by taking the ball early and playing plenty of cross court volley winners, he made some unbelievable retrieving shots and with Marc making regular unforced errors Scott took a 9-7 9-2 lead. In the third game Marc dug in and extended the rallies by working Scott around the court, this tactic began to pay off as Scott now started to make unforced errors, Marc took the next two games 9-6 9-4 to square the match at 2-2. Marc sensed victory in the fifth game and raced to a 8-2 lead by playing some exquisite backhand drop shots but Scott was not to be denied and pulled it back to 8-7 as Marc began to wobble, however, after 67 minutes and on his third match ball, Marc sent Scott the wrong way playing a backhand drive down the side wall to clinch his first Hertfordshire Squash County title.

The Ladies event was won by Broxbourne's Maureen Morrison who won a series of round robin matches, she beat Elke Rubsam 3-0 and Jill Gaskell 3-1 before losing to Julie-Anne Pegram (Bishop's Stortford) 3-2, however Julie-Anne was unable to capitalise on this win and lost 3-1 to Haileybury's Jill Gaskell 3-1 who took the runners-up prize.

The Ladies B event was won by Natalie Laurence (Cannons St.Albans) who won all her round robin matches with Fiona McClure (Panshangar) coming second.

The Mens B event was a keenly contested tournament with the Final being an all Bishop's Stortford affair, Gavin Noffki beating his team mate Neil Newbery 9-3 in the fifth game.

The Mens C event also had some excellent matches, James Clyne (Broxbourne) defeated Neil Stennett (Batchwood) 3-0 in their Final.

The Mens Plate was won by Steve Lloyd (Harpenden) who saved 3 match balls against Adam Long (Broxbourne) to win 3-2.
