Eastern Region
Herts did very well at the Eastern Region Tournament
in Harlow on 21st & 22nd DECEMBER 2002.
(Note: Eastern Region comprises the following 6 counties: Herts, Essex,
Norfolk, Suffolk, Beds and Cambs)

British Junior Open 2003
We have just returned from British Junior Open 2003 in Sheffield
where Herts was represented by the following boys:
Adrian Waller, Neil Waller, Jonathan Fuller and Adam Fuller
(U15, U17 & U19). There were 497 entrants from 34 countries around
the world. It is a very strong tournament from which the boys have
picked up valuable experience competing against the best players in the world
at their age groups.
Best match for Adam was against Brazilian Eduardo Pereira
which he lost 3 -2 and took well over an hour.
Best match for Jonathan was against the Canadian No.1 Colin
West although he lost it 3 - 0.
