Herts. County Junior Squash

Minutes of Meeting  3/12/01

Present: Ray Waller, Chris Wilkinson, , Dudley Fuller, , Ron Worrel,  Roxanne

Finances: CW to prepare accounts and necessary statements for submission to Sport England for funding.

Dean advised that the cost of the U13 was expensive and the hiring of a vehicle took the amount claimed over the guidelines. This subject has now been exhausted and hopefully we will never have to travel to Falmouth again!. 

SRA Rep: Chris advised that Karen Selby has now been allocated to Herts. This makes sense as Gayle was based in Wolverhampton. Karen advised Chris that the SRA were looking creatively at funding for counties and a meeting should be arranged post haste. CW to contact Karen. If she can be present at the next meeting this would be good. 

Interclub: u11’s went well. Thanks to D. Richards from Furzefield for such a well run event. U19’s at Canons also went well.

Rankings: Passed to Ron fore completion. We all now have a copy of the rankings.

Herts Closed: Results given to Ron for submission to the SRA.

Girls Training: Earliest possible is now after Christmas. Lesley to be asked again by Ron. Tring have 3 girls interested in training 2 are only 8 years old the other 14 yrs. Old. Julian Craxton has some girls who could be interested in training. Ray will speak with him. 

County Matches: No second round details as yet. Since the meeting the u13 and u15 have been allocated home fixtures. U17 away. Details at the next meeting.

 Training: U11/U13 Dave Sciberras to look for some dates for this age group at B.Stortford. 

A.O.B.  Dave Sciberras was going to ask his wife if she could run the accounts. This can be achieved with the simplest of computer programmes. Chris is prepared to assist in setting up the accounts.
