Present: Ron Worrel,  Roxanne Ransley, Dave Sciberras, Dudley Fuller, Karen Selby
Apologies – Ray Waller, Chris Wilkinson

Finances:  Still need to get confirmation from Dean of just how much more money the Junior squash section will receive in the 2001/02 season.

CW still to finalise the AWARDS FOR ALL application. Karen suggested starting from scratch but still need accounts details from Chris so nothing to be gained.  PLEASE ACTION CHRIS!  We need the money.  Deadline is 20th Feb.

Still no e-mail yet from Chris with previous accounts for Dave to take over.

Karen asked if Chris has returned squash balls to England squash as they are still asking.  Chris W to action.  Suggestion that in future signatures can be any 2 from Dudley, Ron, Dave and Ray to ensure faster turnaround.  Ray to action necessary documentation

News: Adrian Waller beat Joe Lee in grand prix event – well done 

SRA Rep: Karen Selby kindly attended this meeting and recommended that clubs and county activities are covered by parental/Guardian consent forms.  Karen to send template by e-mail to committee and form to go onto web site.  Karen also spoke of child protection workshops for coaches/volunteers involved in junior activities. 

Inter-county: U13 team won Div 1 South beating Warcks, SE Wales and Essex and so gain promotion to Premier division.  U17 team came respectable 2nd beating Glos and Bucks but losing out to a strong SE Wales team.  Adam won all his matches

Expenses owed to Ray (?), Dave (£77.31), and Dudley (£175).  Chris to action.

Interclub – Continuing on schedule with 37 played and 39 to go (well done Ron). No further “no-shows” apart from a Cannons U15 glitch.  

Training: County training not well attended but thanks to Lesley for coaching.  Roxanne agreed to plan and organise for an U13 girls team (n=3) in Inter County for next season.  Karen informed us that the opposition may not be as strong as might be expected.

U13 boys training was conducted by Jason Foster and Dave Sciberras.  £30 owed to Dave for costs – Chris to action.

Herts County Web Site:  Derek has put items sent to him on site very quickly and thanks to him for the good work.  Ron to update rankings and provide short report on inter club match progress.

CW still to look through Herts closed entries for those who gave e-mail addresses so we can inform them of the site.

AOB – Committee to ensure SRA are informed of correct team manager names for next season – DS to action
