Herts County Squash Juniors

HERTS U-14 GIRLS WIN 4 COUNTIES TOURNAMENT

On June 12th a squad of 10 U-14 girls travelled to St Ives (Cambs) for a
tournament between Herts, Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk. Many of the team were
U-11 at the start of the season and were making their county debuts so coach
Julian Craxton was delighted with the team spirit shown and the performances
on court. At the end of a long day Jemma Ockwell (Radlett) lifted the new
trophy and all the team received gold medals. Next season the 4 counties are
hoping to run an U-16 as well as the U-14 competition.
