AOB – Derek Thorpe is coaching 2 schools from St Albans at Batchwood.

Batchwood do not have a Junior section to which any players who wish to continue can attach themselves to.

This needs to be addressed otherwise the good work will be wasted. R Waller to contact Derek to see what can be done to ensure the children have somewhere to go after the tuition is completed. Derek replied as below:

Hi Ray

I approached 4 schools. 2 of them took up the offer:
Prae Wood and Margaret Wix in St Albans. Ideally I would like to set up a junior section at Batchwood but that may have to wait until the next course I run. There is no junior section at present. I am just getting to grips with Batchwood and the schools.

regards
Derek

Date of next Meeting
