Lambs Squash Club to close
One of the most famous squash clubs in England closes at the end of
July.
Lambs Squash Club
in London has hosted many major events including the
British Open and British Junior Open.
I reached the quarter-finals of the British Junior Open in 1987
beating the Pakistani number 2 in the last 16,
Iain Higgins won the British
Junior Open title there in 1995, I've watched
Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan,
Geoff Hunt and
Chris Dittmar all play there on
the Exhibition court.
On Thursday 26th July Peter Nicol
will be playing in the last exhibition match at Lambs Club against his
close friend Tim Garner, tickets cost £10, if you
would like to go, let me know ASAP.
The next Harrow Challenger Squash Tournament open to men, women, juniors and now masters age groups is taking place at Cannons St.Albans on 21-22 July, the recent event at the club was a big success and is a great way of keeping match fit during the summer months, if you would like to enter let me know.
