Dear Affiliated Club

Over recent months England Squash & Racketball have developed a relationship with Asda and also with Lucozade via a partnership with a rewards company called Inspire. In summary this partnership provides you with an opportunity for you as a club to link with wider promotion of what you do and open your doors to new people interested in playing squash or racketball.

Please find details below of both promotions. Both promotions are separate, but both run via Inspire. Please also see details of how you can get involved:

Asda Sporting Chance

The Asda programme is primarily for juniors, although promoting activities as a family fun day would be very successful.

Your club can link with your local Asda store, and during a promotional period, the next one is between 2nd and 17th April (Pre-Easter). Via a voucher scheme, customers can redeem a "have a free squash or racketball session" at a participating club during a specified period. Clubs also have the opportunity to do some in store promotion, promoting what you do and also the sport. This is done by working directly with the local store manager. Contact list attached. England Squash & Racketball Regional Managers can help you here if you need support.

This is a great opportunity to promote squash and racketball in a way that we have never done before to a completely new audience so I would really urge you to get involved. Please see web link

http://www.asda-sportingchance.co.uk/partners.html

England Squash & Racketball will provide the first 50 clubs that register with the programme free giveaways to promote the sports during the promotional period.

Please find attached some details about the promotion.

How to get involved:

The promotion is run by the rewards company Inspire. To get involved please just contact the programme manager Danielle Whitehead Tel 0161 495 4303  E: danielle@inspireemail.co.uk. Danielle will provide further details. Please also contact your England Squash & Racketball Regional Manager (Mark Williams), so we can fully support you and your club's promotion in terms of profile, marketing ideas and publicity. If you do not know your England Squash & Racketball Regional Manager, please contact me and I will put you in contact.

Lucozade Promotion

This promotion is similar to that outlined above, but specifically targets a slightly older audience 16 to 34 year olds. Each Lucozade Sport promotional pack (drinks bottle) has a promotional code which allows the consumer to register on the Sport FREE60 website and download an e-Voucher. The e-Voucher entitles the bearer to a Free Session at a participating club (as detailed on the promotional website) for the relevant sport. Squash is one of these sports, and in the same way as the Asda programme, promotes our sport and also your clubs to over 30 million people via the drinks bottles.

The promotion will launch on 1st May 2011 and finish on the 30th July 2011 with consumers able to redeem their e-voucher until the 15th August 2011.

How to get involved:

The promotion is again run by the rewards company Inspire. To get involved please just contact the programme manager Ian Staton Tel 0161 495 4303 E: ians@inspireemail.co.uk. Please also let your England Squash & Racketball Regional Manager know that you are involved so we can help promote what you are doing and generate some publicity and offer support.

I really hope that you are able take up the opportunities available to promote our sports, raise their profile and also promote and increase the number of people coming through the doors of your club.

If anyone has wider questions please also feel free to contact me directly.

Kind regards, Steve
