Exhibition Squash Evening

Peter Nicol vs John White
The Herts Squash Editor says that he heard the match was "brilliant, entertaining and spectacular squash".

Manager Jason said modestly "The event went very well with over 120 spectators crammed in to watch the exhibition match between John White and Peter Nicol.

The evening started at 6.30pm for 12 lucky club juniors who went on court (6 each) with John and Peter, followed by top club juniors Olly Dixon playing 1 game with Peter and Brogan Lane playing 1 game with John White. 2 lucky winners from the audience then played 1 game each with the guys.

After a short break, the crowd were entertained for over an hour as John White beat Peter 3-1 in a fine exhibition.
Followed by a 20 min Q and A session.

Many Thanks to Steve Cave from Fosterdenovo who sponsored the exhibition match and to Prince for donating the raffle prizes, top prize was Peter's racket followed by tickets for Canary Wharf.

On Friday 9th March the club is hosting an Exhibition squash match between Commonwealth Games Double Gold Medallist Peter Nicol MBE and John White former World Number 1 and regarded as one of the hardest hitters of a squash ball in the game.

The evening will start with them playing a selection of club juniors, then 2 lucky winners drawn from the audience will play them followed by the exhibition match.
Tickets cost £6, £3 for juniors, hope you can make it.
