In a match that was so close to call with Mark going for every nick he could see with literally every shot of every rally, the ball was zig zagging about the court and almost making me dizzy. It was almost exhibition stuff, but Mark had decided that this was his best chance in a p-a-r scoring game! It worked quite nicely in the 1st with Nicol being wrong footed on many occasions. In the second, Mark's confidence was bigger than his shot making & he 'tinned' probably 4 or 5 balls going for outright winners. The third started in a similar vein, when Peter seemed to trip. Mark says he stood on his foot after being wrong footed & having to turn quickly. Mark had the 'T' and Peter went behind him to go to the forehand when he realised the ball was short on the backhand. The subsequent attempt to change directions mid stride, found his foot landing on 'chip' rather than the floor, and down he went like a boxer with a glass chin!
